Can you really get a free Ipad? We tested it out and here are the results!
Have you ever seen the offers on the internet that claim you can win a free Ipad on the internet, well so have most people. This site was created by 22 marketing students who took on the task of finding out if any of those offers are actually real or just another internet scam.
After 3 months of testing over 67 offers and another 3 months waiting to receive product, all 22 members of our class received an Ipad at either very little or no cost at all. Below we have listed all the offers that at least one of the 22 students successfully received an Ipad from.
Just to be clear each student signed up for at least 3 of the offers and some even signed up for over 10 in order to increase their odds of getting one. by signing up for multiple offers, eighteen students received one Ipad, Three students received two Ipads, and one lucky student received three Ipads!
This site is not intended to market an offer to the public, but rather document current marketing offers presently floating around on the internet today.
#1 OFFER
This offer proved to be very successful. 17 of our 22 classmates signed up for this offer with 7 of them getting an Ipad. As stated before everyone in the class received Ipads through this market test, but only 7 of them came from this offer. Even with only 7 students receiving Ipads from this one offer it still had the highest percentage success rate.
#2 OFFER
This offer was also very successful. With all 22 of our students signing up for this offer, 5 of them actually received an Ipad from this offer within 60 days of completing the signup form.
#3 OFFER
Another successful offer and one of the quickest signup forms out of all the offers we tested. While almost all the offers just take minutes to signup form this one seems to be a little shorter and easier than the others. With 11 of the classmates signing up for this offer 4 of them received Ipads from this offer.
#4 OFFER
Yet another offer we had success with. Only 14 students signed up for this offer and 4 of them received Ipads from this offer. The students who got Ipads from this offer had them withing 20 days of completing the signup form. This was by far the fastest delivery of product out of any of the offers.
#5 OFFER
12 of our students signed up for this offer and 3 of them got Ipads. Everyone loves a free Ipad, but the only downside of this offer is by the time our classmates got Ipads from this offer we were already out of our class together. The students who did get Ipads from this offer had to wait almost 90 days before they ever got their Ipad delivered. Trust me we are not being picky about getting a free Ipad, but out of all the offers we successfully got Ipads from, this one took the longest to get the Ipad delivered to us.
#6 OFFER
All 22 of our classmates signed up for this offer and 4 of them received Ipads from the offer. You are probably wondering if 4 classmates received Ipads from this offer then why is it only #6 on our list and not above the #5 offer that only gave our class 3 Ipads. The answer to this lies in the number. While this offer gave 4 of our class members 4 Ipads all 22 of our students signed up for the offer while only 12 signed up for offer #5 to net 3 Ipads. Also 2 of the students who won Ipads on this offer actually had to call and talk to customer service to actually get their Ipads because of a shipping error. Because of this technical issue the offer is #6.
CONCLUSION
We hope that our class project will inspire other classes from around the world to take a look at online marketing and research the methods used. A lot of hard work and time was spent finding the offers and going through them to find the ones that were legitimate offers. We hope that along with the knowledge of online marketing this project has brought to light, we hope a few of you got some free Ipads! Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions. Even though our class is over we will still answer any emails about the project. Please only send questions about our research, not anything about the Ipad offers.
